The Moss & Wolf Case Files
-
Case 1: No Bones About It
Charlotte “Charlie” Moss is a Private Eye and a dang good one. It helps that she has two things going for her, the first is that she is a psychic which certainly helps in investigative work. The second is her partner Brutus “Wolf” Nycanthus who just happens to be a werewolf who can track down almost anyone and anything.
Their partnership is still new and most days the biggest mystery Charlie has to deal with is figuring out why he sticks around. That is until they get a case that is about more than just a husband having an affair or following missing money.
When a book is stolen from the local archives, Charlie is hired to investigate because the perpetrator is something the normal police don’t even believe exists. She is about to get embroiled in a mystery that will put not just her life but her very soul on the line. So it’s a good thing she has backup.
This case is going to push Charlie to her limits, give Wolf a reason to truly worry, and reveal that sometimes not everything should stay buried.

Case 2: Ghosts of Rome
After exploring the mind of the serial killer H.H. Holmes, Charlotte Moss decides that escaping Terminus for a breather is in the cards. So she and her partner-turned-boyfriend, Brutus “Wolf” Nycanthus, head to the South of France for some fun in the sun. However, a one-off comment about the pizza being a far cry from truly authentic leads to them travelling out of France and to the heart of the Renaissance, Italy.
Being so close to so much history and culture soon led to them travelling further into the country. Straight to where all roads lead, Rome. A city that Brutus had been taking every road to avoid for years because it was where he lost everything so many years ago.
But surely things had changed in the thousands of years he’d been gone? And it wasn’t as though he left his enemies alive to haunt him. They could return to the city and have a nice normal time… Or as normal a time you could have with a psychic detective and a city full of history, which means lunch was interrupted by a ghost. While they aren't happy about the intrusion into their holiday, nothing dangerous could possibly begin from the spirit of an old man just looking to deliver one last message to his wife, right?
Follow Charlie and Brutus on their next adventure leaping into the heart of not only his past but their own hearts as they learn sometimes what one believes is the end is only the beginning of something else.

Case 3: Death In Winter
After a vacation fighting against Roman Gods, Charlie and Brutus have returned home and it seemed like things were getting back to normal. Things were going smoothly and it seemed like the only interesting thing to happen, as they approached Christmas, time would be the First Responder’s Ball. Unfortunately for the partners turned lovers, life never turns out to be that simple.
A call from The Terminus branch of the I.D.P.D. (International Department of Paranormal Defence) brings the pair to the local museum to investigate a robbery. A set of Nordic Rune Stones said to control the weather were taken, and an abundance of illusions used during the heist point to some tricky creatures being involved.
Now Charlie and Brutus find themselves having to deal with a challenging case while at the same time dealing with their friends learning that the two have started dating. Their personal and professional lives intertwine as they face foes as dangerous and wicked as any they’ve come up against in the past. Can the two manage to avoid death this winter? There is only one way to find out.
